Well done!!

By now you have identified exactly what charges have been applied to your account, made a preliminary request for their return and probably recieved a pre-formatted standard response from your bank, telling you what a wonderful service they provide for the charges they levy.

If your claim was for a small amount, you may have been one of the lucky few to recieve a refund without having to make an official complaint.

If you haven't, it's time to write to your bank, directly asking them to refund the amounts they have taken.

We have prepared a letter for you, based upon the current status of the much hyped 'test case' between the Office of Fair Trading and the leading banks.

The letter is in the right hand menu, called 'Prelim Letter'.

As in previous steps, simply download the letter, complete your personal details and send this Recorded (or Special) delivery, remembering to keep the delivery slip and a copy of the letter in your claim file.

If you haven't already done so, now would be a good time to register with our online community, which can keep you fully up to date with current reclaiming events and support you through the next phase.
